Brunch off the beaten path on our way to a plantation visit. Well worth it! My husbands lemon curd crepe was amazing, light, tangy sweet and perfect size. My sons French toast with berries was some of the best French toast I have had and the fruit was fresh and varied. My croissant with ham, Swiss and béchamel was perfection, with all parts in great proportion and presentation! Must visit! Be sure to pick up the pastry as well, we got a few pastries to go and we would be in big trouble if we lived nearby!

We were in Charleston for only a few days, but we absolutely had to go back to saveurs du monde twice. We tried the quiches, baguette sandwiches, and a number of pastries (including danish, croissants, torsade, pain aux raisins). The pastries were stunning: burnished and golden with crisp layers and a variety of delicious fruit, nut and chocolate fillings. The quiches were equally delicious. These, packed up with a few of their excellent baguette sandwiches, made for a fantastic beach picnic. If you're in Charleston, there is an overwhelming selection of restaurants, but this cafe is an absolute must try.

I had an excellent pastry and they carry diet and regular coke in glass bottles. Very cool. I had the chai tea and it was very good. I recommend giving this restaurant a try for both breakfast or brunch.

This little French gem was more than I would have expected! It is adorable and they play soothing French music while you eat. The croissant was so flakey and you could see the layers. The crepes were so delicious and the desserts were to die for. Definitely recommend stopping by!!

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere clean and bright, the food -- delicious! My teenager and I enjoyed our pressed sandwiches and Orangina. We also loved the variety of macaroons we brought home. It was great to run into some friends and acquaintances in this lovely & polite establishment.
